Things have been pretty crazy since this all started up in November. I’m trying to roll out a few new products in the next month, including a great Album option you can add on to your session + DVD. The Album will be all-encompassing and will offer you something you cannot just do on your own at home (well, I guess if you have the time and tools); including custom layout designs, and additionally retouched images so that your entire album will contain fully-retouched images. Stay tuned for a post about the Album option and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas!

Sorry I’ve been away for so long. I’ve been working on some projects and just getting some of my older works out the door. I’ve managed to get a tonne of DVDs out in the past two weeks – so I’m almost caught up! I’m planning to upgrade my website once things slow down a bit. In the meantime, I’ve posted information on a new package I’m offering called “Baby’s First Year”. With this fantastic package, you’ll be able to lock in current session pricing at a discount! Happy Valentine’s Day BellaPortraits Blog readers! I managed to retouch a bunch of photos for my past clients and have sent some Valentine’s Day cards out today. Thanks to everyone for making my first 3 months so successful. I cannot believe that so much has happened since I started in November! I can hardly keep up, but I think I’m getting an idea now of how long post-processing will take me. As a result, my new wait times are about 2-3 weeks for retouched photos. You’ll still all get teasers within the first week of the session so that you’ll see how it all turned out!

Thanks for the referrals everyone. Please do keep putting the word out about Bella Portraits in as many groups as you can. Make sure to keep tabs about what you’ve posted, so that I can give you your loyalty points towards discounts on future BellaPortraits sessions! Just got back from a Maternity shoot with Stephanie S. & her Hubby, Bryan, in the South End! I’ve been so behind in retouching, just because of all the party coverage I’ve been doing! Hello Everyone,

Thanks for checking in periodically with me. Things have been going super well lately and I’ve been fully booked (and even having to turn down clients due to time constraints) since I started just a couple of months ago. I recently just put up posters in Starbucks & in Diesel Cafe in Davis Square to advertise my little business. I’ll hopefully be changing the rotation of photos I’ve used in the posters I put around the area. Keep your eyes open to see if your photo is used in one of my advertisements. Also, if anyone has any great ideas in terms of advertising – I’m all ears . Feel free to drop me a note/email, or just leave a comment below!

Hi Guys!

I’m starting this new section as a blog to keep you updated as to what’s new with Bella’s Portraits. Things have been moving quickly for me, and I’m excited to see how 2011 goes! I started my little business on October 31, 2010 with my first gig. Since then, I’ve booked dozens of families and have had a blast photographing them in and around the Davis Square area! I’ve done several parties, including birthday parties and engagement parties, with more on the way. Special requests are always welcome: I’ve done an exciting boudoir shoot for one of my mommy-to-be’s last year after meeting her and her hubby for a regular maternity shoot on a previous day. My clients keep coming back for more, because they’ve never been anything but impressed with their final product (please see reviews).

Getting the right ‘look’ for your photos is always a challenge, but it’s something I strive to provide for all my clients. As this site develops, you’ll see new ways of processing I can provide to deliver the mood you’re looking for. Below are a few examples that I’m playing with. Please contact me if you have any suggestions, or want to inquire about a session with me. All basic lighting and colour adjustments will be done for at least 10 images in your batch (please see main page for examples). They will be processed for the way I think it looks best for my portfolio and hopefully the way you want your images to look as well! All images will be included in your DVD. If I have a chance to go back and retouch any images intensively, 1 photo will be provided (emailed) to you at no extra charge! For additional retouching, prices range from about $10-30 (each photo) for the retouched JPEG for you to print at your leisure. They will be emailed to you once they are ready.
